This method is more economical and typically results in a very clean appearance with few visible bubbles or inclusions within the glass. However, because the color is applied externally, exterior-colored glass bricks are not recommended for outdoor areas exposed to long-term direct sunlight, as fading or color deterioration may occur over time.
