Organic Semi-Matte Terracotta Tiles
Our Organic Semi-Matte Terracotta Tiles are made entirely by hand, from forming the clay body to applying the surface finish. Their distinctive low-sheen surface is neither completely matte nor glossy. Instead, it responds gently to light, revealing the subtle movement, depth and natural variation of each tile. The result is a warm, time-worn surface with a quiet sense of character and history.
The terracotta body has been refined through several stages of development to balance authentic handmade texture with strength and durability. The edges are naturally softened rather than overly sharp, while the relatively dense and solid body avoids the loose or fragile quality sometimes associated with rustic handmade tiles.
The collection includes quiet, low-saturation shades such as sage green, wood white and grey blue, alongside richer tones of ochre, orange, red and warm brown. Used individually or freely combined, these colors can create compositions ranging from calm and understated to expressive and playful.
Suitable for both walls and floors, the collection can be used in kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces, as well as restaurants, cafés, boutique hotels, retail interiors and other commercial settings.
